The VI Group is led by Joe Cuzzupoli, an experienced General Manager and investor. Joe is a passionate entrepreneur who has invested in, and managed, a number of private companies. He enjoys a track-record of consistently high returns for both his Investment and Management partners.
Joe began his career at Healthcare Services Group (HSG), the leading provider of Housekeeping and Laundry & Linen services to the Skilled-Nursing community. He subsequently founded and personally funded Summit Services, whose model improved upon HSG operations and execution. After (16) years of direct competition, HSG began to aggressively pursue Summit. Joe ultimately sold the business to them in 2006.
His next ventures included the leadership of two (2) other major Healthcare companies, the incubation and integration of a number of Pharmacies, the turn-around of a major Hospice company, and ongoing acquisitions of a number of strategic Skilled-Nursing facilities and Memory Care centers.
Joe formed the VI Group in 2007, and has invested in, advised, and managed numerous businesses in Healthcare and Real Estate across the country. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from Boston College in 1985, and subsequently his Juris Doctorate from Boston College in 1989.
The VI Group enjoys the unique advantage of a robust network of third-party private investors to finance its transactions, and advise portfolio companies. By leveraging their experience as directors, managers, and entrepreneurs, along with their ready-access to capital, we create substantial additional value. By bringing their constructive objectivity to assist leadership teams, we build better businesses.
