West River Pharmacy provided closed-door pharmaceutical services to the long-term care industry, servicing all of New England and part of New York.  The firm has grown from zero to over $30 million in revenue in three years.  Another development was a joint-venture called West River Supply, which provided medical supplies to the long-term care industry.

Joe also owns an operates several skilled nursing facilities throughout the New England states; specifically in 2006 Joe along with a nursing home partner acquired Russell Park Nursing and Rehabilitation; Joe continues to own an operate this facility.  In 2011, Joe along with the same partner acquired Gardnier Nursing and Rehabilitation center and continues to operate this facility.  Additionally, in September 2013, Joe acquired Legends Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Gardner Massachusetts, which was successfully sold in May 2017.  Additionally, Joe is an investor in ten specialty assisted living facilities throughout New England.
